Leadership Starts with the Human Being
How I develop leaders—not through tools, but through clarity, presence, and purpose.
Across all my roles - as entrepreneur, executive, coach and consultant - one thread has remained constant:
I believe in the potential of people.
And I believe that true leadership always begins with inner clarity.
In my own companies, within our family business, and across countless projects, I’ve consistently supported individuals in becoming better leaders - by becoming more of themselves.

Board Development & Risk Governance in a Family-Owned Business
I strengthened the strategic leadership structure of an established family-owned company by professionalising board governance and introducing a tailored risk management framework. Prior to my involvement, the board had operated primarily in an informal, operational manner – with little structure, no clear mandates, and limited strategic focus.
As a board member and head of governance, I led a comprehensive transformation. A newly developed governance charter clarified roles between the board and executive management, opened the board to external expertise, and enabled a future-oriented dialogue at eye level.

Built a Globally Scalable HR Infrastructure from the Ground Up
I led the complete build-out of a modern, international HR function for a fast-growing Swiss technology company in transformation. The goal: transitioning from a locally anchored office model to a purpose-driven remote organisation with distributed teams across multiple countries.

Designed and implemented scalable employment frameworks – including Swiss and international permanent contracts, EOR arrangements, freelance setups, and project-based collaborations. I successfully integrated talent across borders while ensuring legal compliance and cultural alignment.

Introduced a company-wide leadership program based on new values, capability models, and targeted coaching for department heads. I designed remote onboarding journeys, management training, and workshops on intercultural collaboration.
- People Systems & Performance Management
Rolled out digital tools such as Culture Amp for data-driven feedback, goal tracking, and pulse surveys. Established transparent performance and development processes to identify and support high-potential employees.
- Compensation, Payroll & Compliance
Harmonised international compensation structures and implemented a unified, scalable payroll system. Ensured full compliance with labour laws and data protection, while integrating finance and ERP systems seamlessly.
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
Developed a global recruiting strategy and built an international talent pipeline. Positioning the company as a value-driven, flexible employer with vision became a core pillar of the employer brand.
This HR transformation not only laid the groundwork for operational scalability but also became a key driver for employee retention, engagement, and the strategic alignment of the entire organisation.

Empowering the Next Generation: School Workshops on Life Skills
I designed and led interactive school workshops aimed at strengthening young people’s personal development, communication and sense of agency – focusing on life skills often neglected in traditional education.
In collaboration with selected coaches, we created a safe and supportive learning environment where children could explore who they are, learn to speak up, carry themselves with confidence, and develop a responsible relationship with money. The goal: to encourage young people to find their voice, recognise their potential, and take ownership of their journey.

ERP Program Lead & Steering Committee Member for Company-Wide Odoo Implementation
As ERP (enterprise resource planning) project lead and member of a three-person steering committee, I oversaw the strategic implementation of a company-wide Odoo ERP system at an international software company. The aim was to unify fragmented systems, enable scalability, and build a digital infrastructure capable of supporting growth and increasing complexity.
I led the full project lifecycle – from needs assessment and roadmap design to rollout and continuous optimisation – with weekly milestone reviews and cross-functional coordination across finance, sales, operations, customer support, and development.
Key Achievements:
- Seamless integration of accounting, webshop, licensing, subscription management, CRM, and support systems
- Live connections to external applications (e.g. learning platforms and licensing tools) serving several hundred thousand software users
- Real-time reporting across departments, enabling better oversight and data-driven decision-making
- Fully automated billing and payment processes with high accuracy and full legal compliance
Beyond the initial implementation, I built and led an internal Odoo development team that continuously expanded the system. The ERP became the backbone for innovations such as a new website, a streamlined e-commerce experience, and a revised product architecture – significantly increasing profitability and operational clarity.

I led the design and implementation of a fully integrated finance system – seamlessly embedded within the company’s digital infrastructure. The project marked a milestone: one of the first Swiss joint-stock companies (AG) to complete its annual financial statements entirely within the Odoo ERP system.

- Digital Finance Architecture
Implemented and customised the Odoo accounting module in accordance with Swiss GAAP. Created an integrated system landscape connecting real-time financial data with project management, subscription services, and sales operations.
- Controlling & Real-Time Dashboards
Developed dynamic dashboards for executive management and the board of directors. Liquidity, cost centres, margins, and target tracking were now monitored in real time – enabling faster, data-driven decision-making.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
Introduced a strategically aligned budgeting process. Built forecasting tools for liquidity planning and profitability control – enhancing financial foresight and steering capability.
- Team Development & Internal Financial Processes
Established in-house finance functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, dunning, and monthly closings. Developed clear processes, internal controls, and team trainings to ensure long-term operational sustainability.
- Legal & Tax Compliance
Ensured full compliance with Swiss tax and governance requirements. Coordinated external audits, tax filings, and legal documentation directly within the ERP system – reducing risk and administrative friction.

I led the strategic repositioning of a mid-sized, founder-led company by sharpening its vision, purpose and market positioning. After several changes in direction and a lack of strategic coherence, the organisation had become fragmented, particularly between the founder, the board and the executive team.
In my role as strategic advisor, I supported the founder-CEO in clarifying his role, intentions, and long-term goals – aligning them with shareholder expectations and the company’s actual situation. Decision-making structures were redesigned, the vision was embedded at the strategic core, and the organisation was set on a future-ready course.
